Afternoon All.
I'm on a job near the power plant off Rockingham and notice there is a bit of a beach you can access with a 4x4. I was just wondering if anyone had kited it before.
people seem to take horses there to exercise
Having a look on Google maps it should work on a sea breeze
Its off Riseley Road

There's a car park and boat ramp off sutton rd. I've not kited there but have gone with my dog for a run. I cant say its the nicest of areas with big smoke stacks from the power plants and I wouldn't leave anything valuable in the car as its pretty isolated. Look out for jetskis and other boats as well as being aware of shipping.
Woodies is only 5 min away and I'd recommend there as there will be more kite friendly company (though I wouldn't leave valuables in the car there either).

ridden horse beach few times when working close, its mainly novelty but can be nice to ride near old jetty on south side.
However water corp has their desalination plant here and their main intake is located about 500 meters off beach straight in front of plant, cameraa watching, try to stay clear especially from power plant,a lot of this area due to its sensitivity is under the command of fremantle Ports, if in any prohibited areas they will come out in boat and tell ya as long as you stay to the south of horse beach you be fine.
If you down here kite it but don't travel here to ride?pooman point only just up road.
good for solo mission, amazing to kite around such infrastructure.
