Apparently the run off from streets drain, gardens and farms are flushed into the swan and it is dangerous to swim in it for a few days over 10mm (we are currently sitting on 23mm)

I went out a few days after the last rains and the water was foaming up like a dog with rabies, if thats even real.... behind my board.

But now I have super mutant powers, so I guess its a good thing. I see every one as a luminous egg that receives its light from the assemblage point of awareness.

How did you get to the awareness that awareness is made of or at least in some part expels light in some way to eggheads?

Yep, its old news that the swan is pretty toxic www.perthnow.com.au/news/western-australia/experts-say-perths-swan-river-and-its-marine-life-are-choking-to-death/news-story/e454f6cd0118b17a2f9c3e6e0bcc27c2

I just thought I would post to give ppl heads up but I doubt it will deter ppl. I have been getting sick heaps lately since I started kiting in the algae blooming swan river, I wonder if there is a correlation?

The whole river is basically brown at the moment because all the recent rain has caused tannin stained freshwater to flow downstream. Just because its brown doesn't mean its bad for you, but there is a risk that a load of pesticides/fertilisers got washed into the system, and following the warm weather we're expecting this week we may see some serious algal blooms occurring which aren't ideal for swimming in either.

You know how when you put dishwashing liquid in water it bubbles? Same thing, as surfactants are released in to the water ways they increase the surface tension of the water and it bubbles. Algae can also produce organic surfactants when they die and begin to decompose but also in lesser amount when living.

As danial_y was saying there are pesticide run offs as well as pollutants from the streets from storm drains which include heavy metals which are taken in through the skin and cause defects in intelligence..
