Hi everyone

Just thought i'd kick this off while i've got a couple of spare minutes :)

it's been suggested by a few that we should have a meeting to discuss/followup on what's been happening as a result of the WAKSA meeting at the cott a little while back.

it's been proposed by a few people that we should consider having it on MONDAY 29th MAY, STEVES PUB (just around the corner from the point).

for all those interested, please post to confirm your interest, cause if we can get a few people down there, perhaps we can get this show on the road and maybe give a helping hand to the guys who are on the committee.

obviously, it would be a great idea for those guys to be there, so if you want to post as well to confirm your attendance that would be sweet ;)

hopefully we can get this going and hopefully we can get a good turnout.

cheers everyone

Hi Guys,

as you may know I have a vested interest in helpin with developments at Pelican Point. I am happy to come to a meeting at Steves on Mon 29th march.
In fact I will shout a few jugs when we finish the meeting.

As suggested a few agenda items would be useful and maybe we could conduct a meeting which results in cincensus and an action plan. Possibly the "achievers" from the Cot meeting could give a bit of input here?

As a starter I suggest we consider the following issues :
A Launching/Landing (No riding) area
A Kiting area
Marine park restrictions
Bird reserve restrictions
A Beginners area (for lessons and wallys).

Only suggestions here keen for your input.

ride safe

G'day Ian

I was going to give you a call yesterday but ran out of time, but no need now :)
great that you'll be there. realise that you've got a vested interest, but your 'personal' opinion is still highly valued as you use the area more than most.

i've got a few people who have done a few things for the organisation of the meeting, and i'll give you an update at the meeting, but there's also a guy (thanks mike) who'll be there to take notes so that we get some action happening after the meeting.

thanks heaps for the suggestions. see you there on monday!

Hey guys,

Couldn't make it to the meeting, but I'm interesting in what went down as Peli is my primary kiting spot.

Will there be a set of "minutes" or points etc posted for us all to have a look and maybe comment on?

yes, minutes were taken

will be available on the web over the next couple days. (link will be posted here)

there were some positive things brought up, with the intention of getting some of them done in time for a follow up meeting in early May.
