Pelican point sucks! Only kite the river in easterlies, go to the ocean for cleaner wind.
Check out Waksa.com.au for more details.

Don't you listen to NickT, he has only been kiting for a few months now!

Pelican Point is awesome. Huge landing and launching area and amazing stable wind. Also there is plenty of friendly locals there who will love to see another international friend to share the love.

Pelican Point is a great Euro spot so feel free to head down that way.. It's pumping 24/7 and I'm sure you will really enjoy. Areverderchii!

Hi Erini, In winter we get a lot of storm fronts coming from the north and the west ... I mainly go to Point Walter Dog Beach which is near to the corner of Burke drive and Page st in Attadale .. Best on North West , North , North East and Easterlies. I have never been to Peli Point but I guess its no good if there is a bit of north in the wind direction....I find the ocean a bit bumpy ( and sharky) in winter .. but I am a bit delicate :)
