Hi guys/girls,

Just finished my lessons and have bought my first kite/board! As a new comer to perth and a new sport I'm looking for some advice on where is best to start off without getting in everyones way while at the same time feeling safe in case something goes wrong.
I have a friend who's given me a few pointers but the more advice (and contacts) the better I recon. Ideally I'd like to meet up with some people and go from there.
Unfortunately I work most days to 4-5pm :( so weekends are pretty much the only option.
Any help on this would be great as I'm chompin at the bit to get out there athough the winds look a bit strong and offshore this weekend sadly.

Thanks!

Doesn't matter if you don't finnish work til 4-5pm. Thats the best time to be headin out. With DLS its light enough to give ya a good 2-3 hours on the water after work.
Try Pinaroo Pt for a good spot to learn, just stay clear of others doing lessons there and ya should be fine. AKS operate there and are a great and helpful bunch of blokes.
