Hi everyone

At the last meeting, we had discussed having our next meeting on Monday the 3rd of May which is of course this coming Monday.

At this point, I don't think that it would be worth having the meeting for at least another couple of weeks. There has been some great work being done by WAKSA regarding signage, and local area flyers, and now it is looking like CALM are going to get involved which is excellent.

That said, obviously there are a few more parties involved now and we're working to get this all in place, however it's taking time to ensure that everyone is satisfied with content etc before they are manufactured.

Another issue that was raised was the BBQ, and again, CALM have said that they would love to get involved. I beleive at this stage, we should be waiting until we have the signs ready to go, and use that as one of the main focus points for the BBQ. Obviously this means delaying it, however I think it's for the greater good.

I guess this post is to really give everyone involved an update, and to say that things are being accomplished, now it's just going to take patience while formalities are squared away.

In the mean time, as we all said in the meeting, the best thing for us to be doing is leading by example for the 'non local' and new kiters, and try assisting and being courteous to both kiters and the public to ensure that we keep our public image positive. Now all we need is wind!! :)
