Statistically speaking you have anywhere from 40 to 55 days left of good sea breeze kiting from now until the end of the season i.e. Feb-March-April. In the month of April you can have as little as 5-10 days of kiting.

Really ?

But I kite all year round.

There's no end to it.

Just gaps which allows me to reset.

lol.

IF you have spare cash for a 2 kite quiver you'll probably find you'll start using the larger kite in Mar/Apr.
+1 Cauncy - AKS can help you out ..

Was in gero surf n sail yesterday, they had plenty of second hand kites, they'd freight down, I personally know some of the kites owners and know they've not been abused

BIG gaps!

He did say "statistically"

Yup, If you're serious about doing some kiting, hire a wicked camper and head north to Dongara and beyond. No point wasting time in Perth now. Unless you like over priced accommodation and waiting, praying for wind.

Heading into trough season now and its been a bad January for them. Water is very warm this year.

Let us know what kites and board you end up buying.

Slave and Factory sum it up nicely - troughs and gaps.
head north on the other hand and you can be ok.
IMO any more days kiting in perth are bonus time.
Hey it could be good, but then it could fizz like last year and be all over.
Swell shoudl start soon tho, back to paddling. no complaints.
