I've done my lessons at the end of last season with WA Surf, which was extremely helpful.
I'm thinking about skipping outta work Thursday morning to get some of those 17-20kn winds, but I'm kinda ****ting myself after reading all the danger stories on here...lol, wondering if that's gonna be too much wind for my skill level and 12m Cabrinha...

I was wondering if anybody knows any instructors in that area (Mullalloo/Pinaroo) that I might be able to work with for an hour??

....I've realised I've never actually had to launch the kite myself, it was always my instructor (I was just the monkey on the kite end), and I've never actually had to land the kite back on the beach when coming out of the water. I'm also a bit vague on the self-recovery, as I only had to do it the one time months ago, so am hunting around for some DVD's to help me remember.

The bit in the middle I've definitely got...lean back, swing through the window and the kite pulls me out of the water. Now I just have to figure out how to make the board move with me when the kite does that :), so I'm sure I'll be getting plenty of face plants on my first day back out again.
