Anyone have a good one? Forum seems awful quiet for such a crazy wind.

Personally I had an early-ish one in Applecross that was ok but the wind started to get 'difficult'. Crowds were well down accordingly, or so it seemed.

Was there anywhere that started firing?

pretty standard all day southerly blow on saturday i thought!
felt almost like mid-west WA conditions

great to get a kite in in the morning, then throw a smaller one up in the arvo, although the legs weren't impressed on round 2!
