I have a bit of a whinge as today I was going to purchase a kite off the Buy Sell section of this site. I rang the woman as soon as the kite was listed on Friday and told her I would be coming up on Sunday afternoon to look at the kite and also rang her this morning to confirm the meeting place [woodies]. I just knocked off a 12hr night shift but was keen as to buy this 10m switchblade for $1000, when I got their, the sheila that was selling the kite had organised for another fella to also look at the kite but failed to let eithier of us know. So we were both keen to buy the kite and we sat there like two stale bottles of piss wondering where to go next. With no input from the woman selling the kite [as she spoke bugger all english] I said to the other buyer lets toss a coin and he won. I drove all the way from Mandurah and went home bloody pissed off- If you are going to sell stuff in Australia learn how to do it PROPERLY.

agreed, I am the fella who won the coin toss and hence was given the right to the kite. To be honest it was bloody awkward being in the situation we were in and not fair to either of us. If the coin had landed the other way up I would have been pissed off mysef, purely due to the seller putting us in the situation. Feel for you mate, good luck with the kite hunting.
