Hi Guys! I am relatively new here in perth.I have been kitting in Scarborough beach for the 2 months that I have already here, but I am looking for a more flat spot ( it dosen't matter if it is not completely flat) for doing tricks on my Twin Tip, which one would you suggest.

Cheers! And hope to see you guys in the water!

Pinnaroo point is about 10-15 mins north of Scarborough, 3 beaches past Hillarys
it's the good ocean flat water in the north
the beach is still a bit dodgy this time of year
but a few have us have been out there in the last few weeks and it's starting to improve

if you see locals there
just get a few tips before you go in (there's an issue with wind shadow)
and if there's no locals
forget it! there's gotta be a good reason why

FYI a bloke had his kite lines bitten by a GW on Friday, just north of Pinneroo at Mullazs.

He must've had his head in the sand if he didn't know about the southern right whale carcus drifting past him that all the great whites and tiger sharks were following

I know they moved the whale from Whitfords beach.

When do you think it will be all a.ok to hit that section of the coast again?

Surely that whale fat smell will attract sharks for a while yet.

It Will take the whole summer for the oil slick from the whale to go... so maybe by next winter it will be gone and then it will be safe to go into the water again....

The beach is safe, just as long as you don't fall off into the water.

Sharks really like Euro's for some reason..

Not sure why but maybe becasue they don't shower on a regular basis.
