WAKSA has recently upgraded it's website so we can now keep the content that much fresher and provide heaps more information about kitesurfing in WA.

Make sure you check-out the site on a regular basis as we will be adding lots more over the next few months.

There is a downwinder organised for the 25th Sept , check WAKSA site for details .

Apart from that WAKSA will be focusing more on organising events that are aimed at the majority of the membership to have fun at , rather than comps for a few of the top riders .

There is a comp committee been set up to organise a comp circuit to establish state rankings for places at the nationals , but will be looking for industry support to run those events .

The main focus of WAKSA will be to improve safety , maintain access and organise days of fun for everybody to join in on .

downwinder sounds great, shoulder should be right for a gentle kite up the coast. 4 weeks of some serious rehab comin up.

Hi Jan
The plan is to have the downwinder and then have a bbq or something in the park at Brighton afterwards .
It will be worth driving up to Scarbs and then having the choice of when to go home .
Regards
Mike
