I often see a mid sized boat/ship off Leighton (it's there now), that just sits there. Anyone know what this ship does/zips? Looks almost like a tug, but is longer with a very flat back end. Is it a pilot for the container ships or something?

did see a white boat off leighton the other day but i think it had the customs red stripe on the bow

Now don't quote me but I have been told it's the pull up vessel on the shark drum line. Once they get them on the line a sensor alerts the boat then they drag them up and axe them on the head.

Chinese, paddled out to it the other day.
Sitting there listening in on our communications? about once a week docks in freo.
Has been there for a while now, must be getting some juicy gossip, would be fun in the weather today
