Where to go Kiting at margret river???

I have never travelled to margret river before, I intend to go this weekend. i would love to find out from ye where the best areas are, ?

PS: if its looking like a more southerly wind should i go slightly furthersouth to east augusta??

Or any other good spots??

I think Margs is usually pretty light. Augusta might be the go.

I was in Margs a couple of weeks a ago and kited at Gnarabup near the boat ramp. Flat water inside with some nice waves on the outer reefs. Wind was SE approx 18knots. Had a ball.

Can anyone shed some light on Dunsborough spots too?

Dunsborough has the whole lenght of the bay basically, problem is not much beach to set up on. Bunker Bay on low tide would be a good spot as long as there's not millions of crew on the beache.

err what . the whole length of the bay and not enough beach to setup ?

If the wind is right then there is plenty of beach, head up towards quindalup end and there is a ****ton of beach to setup
