Shoalwater is cross on and the beach will be reasonably empty of dog walkers and solid objects. Tomorrow is going to be frontal and nasty so keep an eye on the sky and be ready to come in and land at the first sign of dark clouds.

fookiter I did most of my learning at Shoalwater in the past year, its excellent for a wide wind direction range imo, as the beach curves around quite a long way, so if you start as far upwind as possible, then end up downwind (as you inevitably will at first) its a very forgiving place. On a NWster just dont kite past the jetty and boats or its a long way to landfall (I did this on the weekend just past and had to work hard to come back upwind as the wind strength died).
