Hi.

Does anybody know the best site for getting wind predictions and live readings in the Cervantes area? The best I can find is Badgingarra and that is not accurate for the coastline.

or Basically take Perth's forecast and add at least 5 knots to it, sometimes 10!

Keep an eye one when the wind has a little more west in it, great for hangover bay, especially if the tide and swell are up.

The seabreeze lancelin forecast is going to be as close as is going to matter.

Thanks for that tip. Just had a cracking session at Hangover Bay in strong winds of little ramps. Nice one Gazuki.

How good are those little ramps that wedge together,..so sick!

Yeah it's just a beautiful spot to kite, especially when it's just on 20 knots and the water is that awesome turquoise colour.

Its also one of the few good spots on the that strip that can handle some swell as well,.. seen it pumping last winter on 6m swell.

Its always worth a stop when passing,. doesn't work that often but when it does, yew!!

Hey Shano.
Sounds sweet. Thinking of taking my 14 year old there. He's a competent beginner who can stay upwind, turn and do little jumps. I'll be supervising him the whole time.
Do you think that it's an appropriate spot for him, or should we stick with Lanno?
Cheers

Its very similar to Lano but with more space. He would be fine there if he kites at Lano. but be careful not to step on a ray in the shallows. There are heaps of them.
