easterly this w e but why no seabreeze?

hi all ,

just wondering why the seabreeze doesn't come in, in the afternoon even if it s slightly easterly?
But at rotto now it's SW and garden island E????

I'm no expert but my understanding is that because there is such a big high pressure system centred in the bight the resulting strong easterlies hold back the sea breeze.

Its fkn annoying, been howling all week while i've been stuck at work.... Weekend..... NOTHING!!!!!!! As far as the coast goes anyway... Last week was the same to....... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH... FOR F#*KS SAAAAAAAKE!!!
