Hi all, I am looking for broken sails, kites and wetsuits to recycle into bags (Perth area)! Although I am not gonna cut into sailable gear, I am mostly interested in relatively good condition and colorful material. If you'd rather give it a second life than throw it away please contact me on my facebook page (www.facebook.com/coudvent) or by email: [email protected] - thanks!

Sounds like a perfect euro business model.. Living the dream in Perth!

You want free items from this website to turn into items you sell with the $$$ going into your pocket.

FYI if you are selling goods from your website in Australia (which you are) you are required to have an ABN and also registered for GST as you must charge GST on each sale. Anything less than the above is tax avoidance and will not end well for you.

Unreal..

great tax advice RPM,
but I doubt he'll make $50,000 a year selling scrap kites
which means he doesn't qualify for GST rulings.

Seems like a great idea to me and some nice designs too. Will definitely bear it in mind at the next clear out!

Hey Coupdvent,

Great initiative, it's awesome to see the old worn out kites still going to use! Hope you make loads of useful products with our kite and we will do our best to get our hands on a few more retired kites for you!

Sure, if you have a nice kite to donate I will be happy to fix you a little souvenir of it!
