n4zero,

I don't know the HQ beamer, but assuming north is north, and south is south technically yes your power lines should go to the centre. If you are using it on a bar, you are going to have to use a harness or the entire system won't work (being able to depower it, although looking on the net it doesnt look like a depower kite) so I don't really see the point of putting it on a bar.

I would call the shop or person you got it from and ask them for how to set it up.

N4zero,

Hi again, I am not sure if the kite is designed for a bar, you are best checking with the manufacturer.

Generally speaking bars are reserved for depower kites, your kite appears to be a fixed bridal, which is best suited to handles.

Get in touch with HQ they will recommend the best set up amigo!

You will need to look on thier website here- www.powerkites.de/index.php?option=com_kite&view=kite&Itemid=216 to see which bar you have. Then look at thier downloads page for the instructions.

If you want to use a harness with the basic bars you will need a fixed loop with quick release to go on the bar.

Jason
