Should be a great event of full bitumen racing.....see you there.
Cheers

I was the only one from Oz.
In the first two days we had light winds ,then on the third day it was very very wet With lakes on the track and the wind was up and down. Last day was dry but was hard to pick the right sail for the race - any thing from 3m to 5.5m and it would change in seconds.
Because you could pick your own lines between the islands to round the markers it produced top level tactical racing that was great to watch and even greater to race.
Over all a top event from start to finish.
Personaly I had my best year. Two years ago in my first race ever I finished 20th, last year I got 10th and this year I lead the first two days but ended forth. Good prep for the British Open and the Worlds in a few months.
Highly recommended event that should have more Blokarters from Oz next year.

Well done Barak.
Sound like the trip was well worth it.
We're keen to see your videos- maybe we can do a social night and go through your adventure.
I would have thought you would have some more Aussie competitors closer to the racing that would have made the trip across, but with work and other commitments, we don't always get the luxuries we want.
Bring on the wind and see you soon.

Two great videos from the event on YouTube
Should give some idea about Blokart Heaven in the wet and shifting gusts
Enjoy
Another on -board video but this one looking back
We had even more water on the track then what you can see in this video
