Thought it may be a good idea to get all the experimentation and building on one link.
These are the one's that I have an interest in. Please add any former post that may be of interest so that people are able to source info easily, as it is difficult to find as time goes by.

Fantastic Vic......Thanks.

The more I trawl through them, it just proves how much I have forgotten and how quickly time flies.

i have been goggling in images "aircraft boneyards"..........so what !

Well one has just been built at The Alice , it is about to start receiving unloved aircraft,

They do seem to collect some heliocopters, there to me, seems to be some wonderful building material, at scrap prices.

I would have to recon that rotors could be great for landyatchs rear suspension, light , strong , springy

There would have to be other cross usage bits and pieces that may become available. For me one worth watching

Years ago, I was messing about with the remains of a wrecked helicopter- strangely enough the rotor blades were ok!
[I would have thought they would be the first thing to be damaged]
IIRC, the rotors were made of a lightweight honeycomb alloy- would something like this be useful as the basis of a wing mast?

If so- I think "time expired" chopper blades might have a new use!
