Are there any light 17" slick tires avaible exept sysmics or schwalbe kojak?
I now have some motorbike hookworms, but they are as heavy as the rim...

You can try Durbo inflatable aircraft wheels.These wheels has inner and outer hubs which can be separated and individually drilled to accept bearings.These are very light and best for Land Yacht Sailing.

I tried a search, but Durbo doesnt work.

Hi Stephen, look under DUBRO inflatable wheels, just a slight spelling difference. They look the bees knees for sailing in sand, I'll have a better look myself...wok

you do realise we are talking about grown up sized landyachts that are capable of carrying a full grown adult at speeds of over 100kph- and not R/C toys, dont you?

actually I might be in the market for a granny flat , when wifey gets back . this week I build 2 cyclespeedway bikes, and came home with 2 80's kids racing bikes AND a 35y old peugeot "flamenco" ladies 3 speed
