Lightish winds, clean sandy beach. Lots of sun. Best winds early and late summer. Good summer seabreezes. Access beach from the moter camp at end of Harbour Road. Excelent Motorcamp.

15 years ago My wife and I honeymooned in New Zeland. We picked up a motorhome in Christchurch and traveled around the South Island for three weeks before spending a week in Fiji. Believe me NZ was a much better time than Fiji. We plan on returning with our children to do the same trip sometime soon. We will have to check out Ohope Beach next time . When is the best time of year to visit?
