Hi Paul, did the extension system on the mini's work out a few years back??

I would like to make some changes for the shorter people.

What do you recommend? I checked out the all the old forum notes and found your idea. Did the cord need to go down to some pulleys on the floor, from the original foot pedals and then back up to the new extension bar??

Cheers

it worked great as is . the important thing is to get plenty of tension so there is no slop. the girls have well and truly outgrown it now

Thanks for that info Paul.

I was in the shed yesterday and was going to fit plastic seats but the seating position in MUCH higher.
So I've decided to go with a timber seat, after laying a couple of bits of chip board on the chassis, it felt a much better position.
Why reinvent the wheel eh!!!!

I've never tried anything in fiberglass (other than a cowl for a model plane that looked like a dog chucked up) so plywood it is.

I must compliment you on the plans for the mini. A lot of hours have gone into drawing them. They are first class and very easy to follow.
We are enjoying the build.

Many thanks, Chook
