Built badass landyatch prototype over christmas break. Two days shopping for parts. Six hours to build. Cost $125.00. Used windsurfer top end 6m2 sail. Clocked at 85kph in new empty industrial estate beside Pakenham bypass Vic by police radar. Plenty of gravelrash. Big smiles! Been sailing various landsails since 1968. I cannot believe or appreciate the price people are prepared to pay for BLOCARTS in particular or the amount of prattle some go on about the sport. Its not rocket science. It should be fun and not overcomplicated or regulated by bureaucratic wowsers or over intellectualised. Please keep it simple and keep it fun. Soon we will end up with a bogus comp like pro surfing.
