gassy....just use your imagination, and go for it. I have been looking at the

parralympics racing wheel chariots, i think their chassi could be adjusted for our

game too, that would be interesting !!!

Libre did just that with thier buggies, they worked ,but not that well , they then designed a simple Y frame mini that was good enough to win the worlds.
the problem you have to overcome is having the weight so far forwartd, but yes it can and has been done

OK! Gassy, you look like a new face around here? Great welcome to the Forum.
My suggestion to you is to study the layout of Land Yachts from Mini to the Big Ones then look at your Kite Buggy and what may well happen to it if you do convert it. It would be a pity to wreck it.. We do have members that do both Kite Buggying and Land Yachting. Mini's do not cost an arm and a leg to build, especially when you start salvaging materials from Junk Shops or scavenging around the place.. Look in Wind Surfer Shops @ second hand Sails and Masts etc. I bought a Mast a couple of weeks ago for $100 and in great condition. If you start to come to grief there any number of members here that will "Tell you where to go"[}:)]. , we will willing advise for your best results. If money is not a problem then the World is your Oyster.

Hi Gassy
i tried converting a kite buggy and it was disappointing to say the least, it worked but it was to front heavy and tipped over a lot. for the work the mini took me to make it is better to start from scratch in the end.
that's just my view though
have fun

Yep Julian (Potatoes??)
That sounds about what I would expect, the same happens is you over power a Mini (To much Sail) you get hit by a decent gust and Woopsy! A O T. Best to Flog it or Give it away and build a mini. They are much more satisfactory but congratulations on thinking about it anyway. Though they both use the wind they are completely different configurations.. Beg Borrow I didn't say Steal but build a Mini and go have fun.

OK RUUDJE! You just went 'n' tore it. Now go wash your mouth out with Soap.. Zooter! is a Terrible terrible Swear Word.. Abuse like that will not be tolerated..
Zooter has a bad rep world wide. They are not constructed very well according to all reports I've heard and I can't understand why the manufacturer has not been put out of business. On this occasion I will suggest that after you have washed your mouth out with Lye Soap that you can rinse well and eat a sweet[}:)][}:)]

I didn't say Great TV. I said great shows, Doco style.. Having said that my wife is caught up in things like excape to the country, Kevin Mc Cloud etc.
The rest of the channels is worse than DROS.
