Going through old topics I found that Falshaw wheels 400mm seem to be the recommended one.

I came across these in Bunnings today www.bunnings.co.nz/ehi-wheel-wheelbarrow-stl-rim-pneumatic-400mm_p3940172
Would these be ok? Don't know if they are designed for speed - have marked on them not for highway use.

No I doubt it very much.

Mainly because the bearing is cheep and by the looks of it non standard.
Cheep bearings wont last 5 min even less on a beach.

One of the main reasons for everyone chosing Falshaws is the ability to use 6004 bearings

Got my Falshaw wheels today. Very fast service from Specialist Wheels and Castors in Auckland, NZ. I'm well impressed with the wheels - sturdy and light.
Going to start building my LLM without a specific plan since one doesn't seem forthcoming, but there are plenty of clues on the seabreeze website which should head me in the right direction.
