Hi, I am new to this forum and am not computer savey. A friend found a land yacht at the tip and is trying to put it back together. It is possibly hand made and steered by foot. I have taken some photos of it. He needs to know the camber for the front wheel and any other details to help in it's restoration. He does not have a computer so I am the "go between"! Any help would be appreciated. Is there anyone to whom I can send the photos? He is in northern Tasmania. Many thanks Ralph

Welcome...

That information is covered in in Paul's plans here.
www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Land-Yacht-Sailing/Construction/Build-a-Landyacht-Lake-Lefroy-Mini-Yacht/

Check out the rake and trail setup halfway down the page. This will get it set up correctly.

The steering head rake angle isn't important as long as the trail is set up correctly. There is a bit of leeway and they will still work. Just it is best to get it as correct as you can manage. The first one takes some time to get it all set up right.
