I have an Alum frame landyacht for sale, this was built a few years ago and has been in storage in the roof of my Carport.
I don't ever seem to get time to use it and could use the storage space for many other things.
Would love to see it go to someone who will get some use out of it.
I would take a little bit of cleaning up and a few minor things done to get it running.
It is an alum chassis with foot steering, its not built to any particular class or design but fits neatly in the back of a standard ute tray with the rear axles slid out.
It uses a small catamaran mast and sail that is setup to rotate.
Each of the rear wheels has an independent disc brake that is controlled by a bike brake lever beside the seat.
It would be a good head start for someone who had a bit of time to develop it further.
It has never been used on the beach as the only times I have been able to use it was in a local park on grass.
I have plenty of additional pics including some during the construction if you are interested.
I live on the North West side of Brisbane but work near Ipswich so can help with transport if needed.

Selling for $600.00 (negotiable)

Send me an email with some contact details and I will get back to you with some additional detail if needed.

have you considered putting it in the for sale section of seabreeze? that way it turns up when people do a search of the for sales , or even if people are gooling landyachts for sale, by paying the tiny amount for an add with pics , you help keep seabreeze up and running.
by posting with pics here your kinda skirting that low cost. i would also recommend gumtree

Thanks for the advice Paul, I had certainly considered all of the proposed options when it came to this.
My intention was to simply give the people who are actively interested in the sport of land yachting (such as the ones who are involved in this forum) the option of getting a head start if they were considering building something of this nature or it was outside their available skills.

If I wanted to put up with all the Gum Nuts that frequent Gum Tree or Ebay then I could certainly advertise these things there and wait for the ensuing calls from people who have no idea or intention of buying.
If some one from this forum was interested in buying these landyachts I would happily pay the advertising fee associated with selling items on Seabreeze as I would happily support the admin of this site.

If no one is actively interested in buying either or both of the landyachts I will simply put the up on the mezzanine at my workshop until the kids are a bit older then dust them off and go sailing.

As I descried above my intention was to enable someone who has an active interest in the sport to get a head start on the fabrication of a landyacht that may be outside their skill range or cost.
