Hi everyone,

My name is Daniel Struijk van Bergen, i'm a 22 year old student from the Netherlands. At this moment i'm writing my bachelor thesis about land-sailing for my study International Business and Languages. My main question is: What are the needs and requirements of consumers for a land-sailor? And how should this product be introduced into the market. Therefore I have created the website aeronamics.com/ . At this website people can discuss their ideas about land-sailing. We discuss one topic at the time. In the end the land-sailor will be produced! Thats why your input is very helpful. This if of course the place where all the knowledge about land-sailing can be found. That's why I thought of posting this here, I'hope you are fine with this.

I would be great if you can join the discussion and together create a great land-sailor!

Thank you so much,

Daniel

Welcome to the forum....
Interesting project but there is a website that has most of the info is there for you, with a little research you will find the answers. (which is a prerequisite for your studies)
www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Land-Yacht-Sailing/

Over the years we have had many students like yourself approach us with requests for assistance with assignments / thesis on the subject of Land Sailing. We would love to help you with some of your ideas but are not prepared to literally do your assignment/thesis for you, researching abilities are large part of what you need to do

You may think I'm harsh but I have 2 University students of my own and are aware they are required to generate their own ideas rather than use the ideas of others for research assignments.

Good luck with your project and as Gizmo has said, make sure you do lots of research. This will allow you to ask (choose to discuss) some really important questions, instead of using your valuable time going over things that have already been talked about/solved/best option figured out.

Thank you very much Gizmo :) I'm already doing a lot of research.
The forum and also my website are very useful to eventually write a marketing/integration plan for the land-sailer. Still it would be great if people comment on my website, but the forum is of course very useful.

What sort size thoughts have to come to at this stage?

Large yachts... Standart or bigger?
Medium size... Class5 or Promo5?
Small size... Blokart, Mini Class?
Commuter... Whike, pterosail?

When you have decided on a size, this would then give the path that you might want to follow.
