Great news, I went up to Bangalee today to check out the condition of the beach.
The wooden slatted ramp is now fixed and is a pleasure to drive on to get to the sand. All the sand has returned and the beach looks spectacular. Sorry landyacht, all the pumice stone has completely dissapeared. The sand is smooth and compact and looks better than it did before the cyclone.
