Hi folks. I've been thinking lately that I might like to get into land sailing. I've never been in a land yacht, in fact never even seen one, but I'm sure its gotta be fun.

I've been reading your wonderful forum for the last few days - but one thing that strikes me is that there seems to be lots of people from WA, Victoria, NZ, and a few from SA. Is there no-one from NSW. I live in Sydney. Does no-one in Sydney own a land yacht. Is that because there is no where to sail them, not enough wind, too many other things to do ?

Anyway, wonderful forum, if I haven't said that already, and I love the way you all help each other in the constructions.

cheers
Arron
Sydney, but contemplating a move to the northern NSW coast where there will be some long beaches without millions of people on them.

If you live in Sydney why not windsurf, kitesurf or sail. I live in the desert that's why I landsail. If I was on the coast windsurfing. Just my 2 cents.
Blokarts are compact fit in your car and can sail on small car parks. You can always build your own and go on a sailing holiday. Anyway welcome to the forum.

Well I sent off an email to the NSW Blokart club. I suspect they may be defunct as their website is no longer, but we'll see.

cheers, and thanks for the responses.

Yeah, ok, I'll just give the email recipient a few days to answer - dont want to appear too demanding.

Cheers
