Being relatively new here I apologise in advance for what may be a repost...

The video below is a TV news item about a German chap who built a wind-powered vehicle and used it for a quite significant road trip.

Looks like a very interesting concept and much easier than trying to hook up a pedal drive

It looks like Gibberjoe has a German cousin!

Gibberjerry's rig rolls along nicely and looks a lot lighter than Joes set-up, but then Joes rig needs to cope with dirt roads, corrugations and a bit more ballast.

It would be great if we could get away with using public pathways and roads like this bloke.

yep great stuff.......so there is now another crazy........seems it attracts the same type of interest from the general public

i can't speak german, but similar reaction. Being a wet country and generally windy he doesn't need to carry as much heavy water as I.

On that note got my re-cut sails on Friday, so far look good, should have them fitted up this week, then if i can work

out how to post photos here i will do some . some tips from you blokes would help, from my pictures, windows ex, to seabreeze forums.

i expect to get away on big trip on May 1st, all going well

In retrospect, a few years ago while in the Northern Flinders a youngish European stopped and had a chat

he was most impressed and decided on the spot to make one like that, like mine, and use it in the northern european areas.

So it may be he, i don't know , maybe , maybe, mite be, mitebe.
