Great afternoon of Karting on Saturday at the NEW HQ. We had a SW breeze from 10kn and topping out at 18Kn.
19 triangular course races were held of either 3 or 5 laps. With the breeze holding up and getting stronger through the afternoon, we sailed from 12:00 until 6:30. There were 6 Karts [and one blown tyre, mine!] We had quite a few visitors as a result of the publicity from holding the State titles and they all were able to have a Kart between the races. It's looking that we might have some more Karters hopefully sooner than later.
We'll do it again on the 10th of next month.
BTW Rugby McLean came over from Bendigo and took home the winners
