Hi guys, I am thinking about building a yacht, was reading the differents posts on the forums and I got bitten by the virus. I love everything that goes with wind (maybe not the famous movie ) I am in Perth Wa living north of the city, anybody sailing this way? is there a dry lake close by that can be sailed, maybe a section of beach?
Let me know......... going to Rockingham would be a day trip for me.... already sold my 40 footer that was moored there (way too boring to take the drive), I am windsurfing and have a small 25 footer on trailer and I race it (badly) at Ocean Reef Sailing Club.

You will find all the info you need and all your questions already answered on this forum felix.

Read all the stickys at the top of the page and then go to the construction page and do the same. It's all there.

Your first ride in a fast land yacht will cause a chemical alteration in your brain.

Hi Cisco............ just looking at the pics started the brain mutation I had a look at all the blue prints and the yacht you built ... very helpfull pics! I was just worried about having to drive 1/2 to sail but SN mentionned a dry lake 25 k away from my place. Bring it on.....

You do not have to drive far for a sail in or on an LLF Mini yacht. If the wind is blowing just go to the nearest flat area be it a football field or car park and hoot.
