Gday forum members and guests. Just wondering whether anyone has any info regarding the Pacrim 2006 event footage? Ive enquired a couple of times and recieved no reply lately so its got me wondering whether its still being produced. Does anyone know its status or if its available?

The second thing, am I imagining strange things or was there a landsailing book being produced detailing Lake Lefroy activity? Just looking for any landsailing info I can get my hands on. Thats it for my first topic, thanks for your time.

Lachlan.

Well have you come to the right place. There is a book written about Lake Lefroy by our very own Promo girl.

CHeers guys, I have given Lachlan the info on my book. The Pacrim DVD was being produced by Craig Turner (Sandgropers) through his business. However 18 months on we are still waiting to hear.

We all got to see th preview of the DVD on the last night of the Pacrim but alas Infront productions felt the need to make a living instead. I went to a lot of effort trying to run his camera over at the time and Im dissapointed that I never got to see what would have been the first Australian Landsailing movie

Hi Bazl, actually I do not think its that just the guy has to make a living. Wedding DVD's I am sure pay much better than a land sailing ones. My personal experaince is most landsailers are tight ***** and would much rather buy a new wheel than a book.
Actually it would have been good to have the DVD to take away with us and show the world our fantastic lake and give away as gifts. They would have been a bit lighter in my suitcase than the books are!

That seems a very rough deal by InShot productions. Although; were they asked to do the production or did they do it alone to make a dollar or two? I guess if they are unwilling to finish the footage maybe we could buy it from them and make a rough one ourselves somehow. Not sure but if there is good footage laying around gathering dust what use is it
