Boxing day ,Good runs at over 100 ks , nice beach, bit soft at times, (the Police 4x4 then the local council4x4) stuffing the surface up,had to keep a keen eye out for the 3 blowies that were there, had to set up the passing quite a bit ahead of time didnt quite twig as to how slow they are.wish that they would learn that sailing through the crowd is not the done thing. dont kow how you get it in to there minds that there are some comon things that can be done to help our sport here not kill it as seems to be the idea. looking forward to the next few days as there is a bit of wind about and i can play with some of my toys.

what were your GPS readings? Now that I sail with one I realize just how slow we have been going. They are a great tool for tuning the yacht, and suprisingly accurate.
I wouldnt rely on somebody driving behind or along side as this can wildly inaccurate.

How are the beaches holding up with the wild weather we keep hearing about. Is there any sand left, or maybe there has been a heap more dumped by the waves. If that's the case I guess it could be a bit soft.
