First breezes and it will get a quick test in my street before taking to the miles of beach available to me. Took a 4ft deck reshaped to accommodate the Big ATB wheels, Stretched the trucks to the max safe amount for the longest wheel base. And Fitted a mast foot over the Front truck/Hanger.. A HUGE THANKS goes out to Tim for his help with Sails and rigging.. , with out his help this project would be forever on my "Alway said I was GunnaDo that"

Howdy Ogama. Did you happen to take your rig over to Kingston SE over the last weekend? My friends in the Blokart club mentioned someone out on the big lake with a skateboard of some kind. Would've loved to see that but I went to the beach instead that day (lake was a bit wet and slippery).

Hey Squidley.. Not me..I run around the Sellicks area (Adelaide), but would love meet up with others . I only just got back on the beach after a couple of Failures.. Ver 1 ( with the pink wheels) was useless on the beach, wheel too small, just bogged in..
So I went all in and got some pnumatic tyres, Hubs and some Giant trucks. Fashioned a board out of some 3/4 in ply I had and Hit the beach for Ver 2 testing.. ( white board ) Failure again.. Board snapped on first run.. What a disapointment.. Lucky im a determined fellow..
So I got some Marine hardwood ply and shaped up another board, added a Aluminium stringer to the base to stiffen and stregthen after the first failure and waited for the wind.. Theres pics
Ive been out 3 times in the last 2 weeks and What a Blast.. My first outing was brutal, I fell a few times, got flattened by the sail, Never laughed and had so much fun.. But soon had it coming together.. sort of.. Got to windy 25 - 30 knt is not begginer conditions..
On my last outing I was able to ride for a couple minutes with changes of direction and felt I had control over my decisions and imputs..
