Yesterday there was a big event held in the parklands next to Crown (Burswood) Casino,
It is an State govt. sponsored annual event aimed at the over 45 years olds- with clubs and all sorts of activities, displays and info laid on.
I was able to score a little space for a landyacht display, and at the last minute the Perth Blokarts were able to sneak in with us.
I displayed my Lefroy mini (Dangerous Goods) with a flying pig tatooed 4.5m storm sail, left the boom off so it didnt clout anyone if the wind moved.

Perth Blokarts displayed 2 karts- more would have been nice- but space was pretty tight.

I went through 150+ info sheets with basic W.A. club info, and I think Perth Blokarts should be pretty busy this weekend at their open afternoon they are holding at Lake Gnangara on sunday. Lots of interest shown!

Last years "Have a Go" day had around 14500 attend, I am pretty sure yesterdays had even more!
Andy (blokarts) took a few photos- so with luck he will bung some up here.

It also looks like a W.A. country scout group might be making a fleet of landyachts,
Thier grandpoobah is from Moora- she checked out my lefroy mini yesterday, and is very keen to get a fleet up and running.
I am pretty sure this group may have access to a few airstrips- and possibly the RAAF secondary airstrip at Gingin every now and then as the district has used the airstrip before (well- my troop did!)

The other W.A. seabreezers should try and book places for displays next year- windsurfers, stand up paddlers etc could do well at this event.

I didnt have a camera with me
kinda forgot it- along with the powerleads and aerogard

Andy took photos- so I will see if he can bung them on here.

all the landyachts got covered in fingerprints from people checking them out, and the mini spent a fair amount of time on its side being examined by fellas.
One bloke even came back with a dressmakers measuring tape later in the afternoon!

methinks Easyroll might need to get more wheels into the warehouse soon!

Why would one bother with a tape measure when we have perfectly good plans on the forum?? I don't get it!
