We had a fantastic day out on Mooribar Dam on boxing day. First chance in two years to have Pauls schooner on water. Most enjoyable. After we had all had a dail or two we moored the boat, dropped the sails and used it as a platform for the kids (both the big and small variety) to jump off. Lots of fun. Love the daylight savings we were still on the lake at 6.00pm, could still pack up whilst it was light and drive home. Got to make the most of any water inland here in the desert so the landyachts have been put away for a few weeks in favour of a cooler past time

Thats one brilliant boat! The thought of jumping into the water makes me want to visit a river bank for a few days (weeks, months, permanent residence). Does it have a 'plank'? (as in 'walk the plank' or diving board)

Im assuming you wanted some posts about holiday stories. Sorry Im not posting my recent outing directly here but a short story can be found here:

Needless to say it was a lot of fun and relaxing to get away for a few days. And I'll forgive anyone who says "I told you so" regarding a certain occurance
