it had "unexpected" stability problems when turning at speed. I believe Nord Embroden trashed it during one of those turns

In the article attached, there is mention of the original being overturned in a twister. Vague memory from way back tells me that that was what Nord was involved in. Then to be kind, he was not known for being kind to other people's inventions

for occasions when im not sure how something will go, i get out my tame test pilot, TP1 , he has a solid enough bone structure to survive most of my failures[}:)]

surely a wing that shape would create lift at the rear
and youd probably need a push to get it up to a workable speed, fat chance of getting going on any kind of downwind start without some way of getting faster than windspeed and reversing the flow of air over the wing
