That crazy Englishman is planning another crack at the record for end of August at Lake Lefroy. Lets hope he nails it this time!

Don't tell me the world wind powered land speed record is reliant on your cooking

PROMOGIRL!!! HELP!!!!!

Do either of you know how "new and improved" his new craft will be, Barry or Paul? Has he just modified Mk IV or built a new one?

<Head bowed>
"Please God of all things wind powered
let the conditions enable this mad Enlishman
to break the world record in our part of the world
and for crying out loud DON'T LET PAUL POISON HIM!!"

Amen

I assume they're on standby during August and September and then when the conditions are right they can get out on the lake at very short notice.

At least this will be one way to find out who you are!

Yes we know when Richard is coming, not sure if it is appropriate to broadcast the finer details too publicly? He will have camera crews etc with so whilst I guess support from fellow landsailors is probably welcome not sure about hoards of speed idiots, from throughout the Goldfields, who know nothing about land yachts and will get in the way are?

There is a particular weekend that Richard suggests would be good to camp out and catch up with us all. You will need to email me privately for details or wait until Richard says its okay to publicise.

Hilly's - you would not beleive some of the food those guys eat when camping out at the lake. I've seen the evidence left in the bottom of the pot ugghhh. It's a good job cast-iron stomach seems to be par for the course for land sailors

This will be Richards 3rd seasons attempt on Lake Lefroy - lets all wish him luck in his endevours.

Yeah just send Promo girl an email as she says in her post. I've been forwarded an email from Richard saying he's keen to have people come out and camp over one weekend. Might just pay not to announce it to all and sundry.

Personally, I'm not going to foward it to you as I have no idea who you are.
