ok I'm just putting this out there but each year in march here in Adelaide is a long weekend The Adelaide Cup which also mostly coincides with a long weekend in Vic and ACT not sure about NSW, but anyway I'm putting out an invite to any land sailor/blokarter or anyone with some sort of wind powered vehicle to meet up at lake george at beachport in the South East of SA for a long weekend of land sailing fun,,, no pressure from anyone, no attitudes,, just a fun get togeather for a bit of sailing...Lkae George is close to beachoprt so for those who don't wish to bush camp the c'van park is right there,,,I'd like to see this turn into an annual "event" for want of a better word,, so how about it, the beauty of such a place is that if there is now wind the beach is right there, for swimming fishing and anything else you might want to do...I know that there will be a few out there that will only want to poo poo the idea and point out the negatives of such a venture I'll still be going anyway.... so here is an open invitation for people who say they support land sailing to put up or shut up and try and make it to the first and hopefully not last BEACHPORT BASH

+ 1 Beachball,
i am very close to being sailable [yacht wize] but am depending on a couple of service providers, which may not fit the window. So frustration for me may be the end product.
Checked it out on Google Earth, looks impresive, couldnt see any mosquitos but i would expect quite a few.
It looks windy as it mostly is down thataway.
Long weekend, great time for revenue raizing.......drive respectfully.
If it's all together , i'm in
