I wish. Could've, been putting off pulling the yacht apart for its winter spruce up while the lake is still open. There is just this minor technical ingredient thats missing, its called wind.

Not me ... organised a mast for someone, then worked...Saturday late arvo,
Sunday worked all day.. no rest for the wicked [}:)]

But I have found 2 BIG car parks for some new shopping centres in Adelaide... the only problem is 7 day trading...
What about this for an idea... all night moonlight racing???

Already been done!!

A mate of mine used to go sailing at Pearce airbase on the runways when night shift got boring (boring was good as he was in the "firefighting/hosing out the crash residue of icky bits and pieces section" for the airforce).

Petes landyacht was "liberated" from an airstrip somewhere in the top-end and carried back to Pearce on top of an Oshkosh fire truck.

Last I saw(early 1990's) the M.P's had re-liberated the landyacht cause they were bored on nightshift too.
