ok so i heard about this holy gale land sailing week in the USA in july or whenever it is and was wondering if we had something simmilar here in this country,, by the looks of it we don't and so the question is why not why can't we have a land sailing fest or something, it doesn't have to involve racing or any serious competitions as that seems to bring out the worst in people i think anyway but just a get togeather of all things land sailing no matter what the yacht looks like a sort of run what you brung type affair, anybody that has an interest in land sailing, land boarding, kite buggies etc,, maybe a shire/local council could be asked to get involved as well perhaps some local promotion on radio/tv,newpapers etc,,there are some questions like when/where and for how long but i'm sure that it's something that could be worked ou, so hat does everyone think

Hey Beachballs i tried to get the Windfestival happening at Lake Gillies this easter but everyone was too busy or couldnt be bothered answering,even posted on the land kiting forum not one response so good luck with that one.

looks like a couple of cars from Melbourne are trying to get across for the Queens Birthday weekend.

I would have thought Gairdener or Gilles SA would more central to most of us??
