Three of us were sailing Lefroy recently, crossed the lake to the St Ives causeway, the GPS showing 45kms sailed.
We got out, took some photos, looked around, jumped back in and sailed back towards the clubhouse. Getting back to the car one of the guys couldn't find his phone/camera.It had dropped out of a zippered pocket he didn't zip up when he put his camera away. This is where it gets real funny. His car keys were in the same pocket...some
where on the lake was his stuff. The only car....spare keys in Perth. We sailed until dark with no success and called on my good wife to come and get us.Back down there the next day sailing 200 metres apart across the lake. The GPS would have shown the route taken but I'd never cleared the unit, the screen was a maze of tracks. About 4 hours later they were found together.

A carton of beer for the finder!
Moral of the story, clear your GPS and keep your zipper up!
