The Faze5 was designed by Bill Finch in Adelaide this design allowed variations on a design just by moving the clamps rather than rebuilding a complete yacht from scratch ( a very clever idea and would work well on a mini yacht if someone wanted to try it).
The Fed5 is a design that came from FISLY, i dont think that there were many in Australia as the WA clubs came up with the "Club88" class5.
What you have is most probably a Faze5...
Put up a pic and see if we can tell you.

The clamps that Bill made used a round tube about 20mm long on each side of the split, a 5/16 or 3/8 bolt was used to tighten the clamp.
What color sail do you have / or what sail number?
