just got back from a 4 day easter break at our house at marion bay which is at the bottom of york penninsular here in S.A. never really looked around at the dry lakes down there before i got interested in land sailing, the biggest dry salt lake right next to the township of marion bay and there's not way to get to it, and trust me i tried as i took my newly purchased class five down with me but never took it off the roof rack of my 4wd,, pity that there's no way onto the lake, still i have another possibility that i hope to get a look at sometime this week,, part of the almost dry lower lakes area or the river Murray, a big area of dry lake bed but couldn't see if it was smooth enough to sail on so am going to have a better look later in the week[}:)] here's hopeing

I believe a couple of other members from ALYC have been sailing down around the lower reaches of the Murray.

Yeah, you can contact Dennis via his website www.nettiser.com.au/SAILS/

He sails down there with a group of others. Just bear in mind the relationship between SAILS and ALYC is not great.
