ok so on a recent trip to pick up my newly aquired blokart i called into Pt Germein to have a look at the beach and to check out the accomodation there ready for the october long weekend, anyway after talking with the caravan park manager it seems that he and a few of the towns folk are somewhat keen land yachters themselves when work permits which is handy for then i guess as the beach is across the road from the caravan park,, anyway the park manager is keen for the long weekend to go ahead as are apparently some of the towns people so it looks like now that I have gained permission to use the beach I now have some of the towns people on side as well so it looks like pt germein could become an annual event and infact could be used as a prime sailing beach here in south australia more often, so if anyone is thinking about going there over the long weekend in october best book a 'van park site early as the park itself isn't a large park if anyone wants the park phone number PM me and I'll pass it on... So at this stage the weekned in october and the few days either side looks ok
