IPKSA said...So Startrek, I see that the UAE is not a FISLY member.
Please tell us all about what you as an individual, your club or UAE national landsailing association do to promote landsailing in the UAE and how you help other countries around the globe to do so also ?
What has FISLY done wrong or not done ?
I am really interested to see what you think FISLY member countries and volunteers could improve upon.
Remember, the best way to bring about change is to get involved.
There are people who say "what happened" and there are those who make things happen !
Those of us serious about the sport we enjoy try to make things happen by putting ourselves forward and getting our hands dirty so to speak. We learn from others and we ask them how we may assist in improving the sport, which is why I am asking you the questions.

Cheers
Alan
Quote from Startrek "There are a lot countries that have a problem with FiSly
It isn't a speed problem ,as sujested" Unquote.Startrek , rather than just whinging on, what about putting some meat on your comments and backing up what you say with some facts.
Perhaps you will answer another question Will Oharry or is it Will or Harry, I'm sorry I cant figure out your name from your forum profile (apologies) , so what countries are you speaking on behalf of and what problems are you speaking of ?
Startrek, name the Countries that you speak of and who can I contact in those countries for advice?
I have asked for your help in my previous post and I now ask you the same questions again in the interest of clarity for myself and others who work to promote the sport.
If no one knows what the specific issues are then they cant be fixed. If you are genuinely interested in the sport you will be specific to allow others adress the problems !
So please Startrek to use popular jovial expressions, put your money where your mouth is and answer the questions that I have asked , or put up or shut up as we say in Ireland.
I'm sure that if you have any genuine interest in the sport or concerns about its promotion and development your response to my questions will be helpful to all others who are interested in promoting and developing the sport. I'm also pretty sure that if you have no interest in the sport and want to try and damage it and the hard work of others you will avoid answering the questions.
Apologies to you or others if you find my post tough or offensive as its not my intent.
Is any one else following this post interested in getting my questions answered ? Or, am I being unreasonable asking them so that I and others can try and figure what Startrek is on about in order to assist in corrective actions if required ?
